Sexey’s signs training agreement with Bath Rugby

Sexey’s students are benefitting from a year-long training and event agreement with Bath Rugby, complementing their full school sports programme of lessons and fixtures. The agreement is part of Bath Rugby’s school community outreach programme, which includes chances for the students to learn from professional trainers and meet the team’s players (pictured: Sexey’s students were delighted to meet David Denton for a shirt signing presentation during half time at their recent match against Pau.)
Commenting, Miss Katie Johnstone, Director of Sport at Sexey’s School said, “Our training agreement with Bath Rugby is a fantastic opportunity for our students. We’re lucky to be able to benefit from the club’s world-class expertise and the girls and boys have embraced the training and event schedule wholeheartedly. We hope that it will open doors and encourage future stars in the sport.”
James Newbigin (Community Rugby Manager) at Bath Rugby added, “We are honoured to be able to provide this programme to state schools in the region and delighted to be working with Sexey’s School. There is fantastic rugby talent out there and this offers young players an opportunity to build on their natural potential, alongside their existing strong school sports programme.”
