Summer Tennis Camp 2023
Calling all International Students! Join us for our six-week summer tennis camp 2023. As part of the Sexey’s Tennis Academy the summer camp offers international students the chance to learn and play tennis whilst staying in an English state boarding school. Students will also get the opportunity to practice their English and enjoy visits to a selection of historic sites and attractions in the South West of England.
Tennis Education Programme
Available to boys and girls aged 11 to 18 our tennis education programme caters for those who are new to the sport by teaching the basics, to those who have more experience. Our coaches will help students develop their tennis style through lessons, games and competitions.
Our programme will encourage, motivate and inspire players whilst developing their potential, and includes:
• 25 hours of tennis a week
• Strength and conditioning
• Video analysis
• Sports psychology
• Free membership to Sexey’s Community Tennis Programme
The camp is led by our newly appointed Director of Tennis, Mr Tim Allen, the former Director of Tennis at Downe House School in Berkshire. Tim led a highly successful programme that was ranked in the top 20 in the country and 3rd in Great Britain in the AEGON Senior Students Schools Tennis Championships.
Social and Cultural Experiences
Students will be accommodated in our boarding houses and will enjoy social activities in the evenings and at weekend with our full-time boarders. Our boarding provision has been awarded a ‘good’ rating from Ofsted and offers dedicated boarding and pastoral support.
Students will also enjoy weekly trips and weekend activities including visits to Wells Cathedral, Stonehenge, the historical city of Bath, Glastonbury, Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole Caves, Wave Bristol and Lyme Regis.
Priced at £3,500 per student to include all accommodation, meals, full tennis programme and trips. For 2023 the camp is limited to just 12 places, so book your students on early to avoid disappointment.
